As we recognize World Mental Health Day, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the importance of mental well-being within the communities we proudly serve at The ASCEND Collective.
For our Veterans ASCEND community, mental health challenges such as PTSD, anxiety, and depression often linger long after the transition to civilian life. Many veterans grapple Jay McCabe, the Executive Director, The ASCEND Collective sent interested parts wanted to provide awareness on invisible wounds, and thankfully they strive to connect persons with meaningful employment, helping them regain purpose and stability. I am humbled by there work!

In Ability ASCEND, we support those with diverse-abilities who face not only physical challenges but often the mental strain of navigating a world that doesn’t always accommodate them. It's vital that we empower these individuals to recognize their worth and support them in building resilience.
Our Mission2 ASCEND community, made up of individuals impacted by the justice system, faces unique mental health challenges such as stigma, isolation, and the struggle to rebuild their lives. We aim to give them hope by connecting them to employment opportunities that restore dignity and self-worth.
At TAC, we believe in lifting each other up. We encourage anyone who is facing a mental health challenge to seek help—it’s a strength, not a weakness. You don’t have to walk this road alone, and neither do we. The work we do is only possible because of the love and support from people like you. We’re incredibly grateful for the outpouring of generosity you’ve shown. But there’s still more to do, and we can’t do it without you.
